Once again, she is missing an opportunity to address voter questions but it is certainly not the first time she has missed, she has only been to 60% of these forums in this campaign. With all the other Democrat candidates here, including Representative Nancy Boyda and a Jim Slattery spokesman I just assumed she would be here at the last forum of the campaign."
Kultala Backs Illegal Immigrants Drivers Licenses -- LANSING- At the forum Wednesday night, Mrs. Kultala supported Motor Voter registration of illegal immigrants and is OK with over 50,000 current licenses in the hands of individuals that Kansas Secretary of Revenue, Joan Wagnon testified, "could not prove legal residency."
Detective Visits Jerry's Nursery -- Dan Jones, owner of Jerry’s Nursery, who first reported that he had been called by a Kansas Senate candidate trying to get him to take down an opponent’s political sign, now reports that he has been visited by a detective from the Wyandotte County Sherriff’s department. The detective was apparently acting in response to a letter sent by the Kansas Secretary of State to the Kansas City, KS District Attorney who provided a copy of a newspaper article “…for your review and possible investigation and prosecution.”
