HALLOWEEN SPIRITS ENDORSE FITZGERALD

LEAVENWORTH- Leprechauns, ghosts, and other assorted goblins are throwing their support Steve Fitzgerald's way this election. He's running for the Kansas 5th Senate district seat.

Fitzgerald campaign manager Bob Keane stated: "Our campaign is one of the few that actually holds the time-honored tradition of sign waves to get people enthused about voting and hopefully voting for our candidate. If nothing else, we have a lot of fun doing these but this one especially was a lot of fun. I dare say we're the only campaign in Kansas that had a costumed campaign wave for Halloween if not across the nation."

Keane continued, "No doubt, our "most spirited" award this year goes to the "Leprechaun for Fitzgerald" sign waver. Between his wild Irish heritage, color-coordinated outfit, flashy and flashing socks, mod glasses and his exceptional choreographic sign-waving dance steps he was voted our "most spirited" for Halloween. He and the rest of the group made quite an impression on passing drivers, all kinds of honks, waves, smiles and good-natured fun. Hopefully, our Fitzgerald "spirit" is remembered on election day, I'm not sure how they could forget!"
